The Coolidge Library is especially rich in Italian and French works. Of the former there are no less than 480 volumes, the most of them copies of the works of the best Italian authors. Many of them are very beautiful specimens of the printer’s and binder’s work. There is, probably, no finer collection of such books in the West.
