This is the bookplate of Myer Isadore Berman, a Massachusetts physician. Born around 1886 in Lithuania/Russia, Myer Berman immigrated to the United States in 1903. He received his medical degree from Tufts University in Boston and married Rebecca Rosenthal shortly afterward, in 1914. The couple had three children, Harriet, Herbert, and Ruth.
Along with his medical practice, Berman also served as the Socialist representative from Boston in the General Court of Suffolk County.
In 1954, Myer Berman made a trip to Israel with his wife. He died November 11, 1958.
