Title

Krapp's last tape and Not I Advertising Flyer

Subject

Beckett, Samuel, 1906-1989. Krapp's Last Tape. Not I.

Description

In Krapp's Last Tape, only one character appears on stage but Beckett develops a dialogue between two characters, the older Krapp on stage and the voice of Krapp’s younger self played back on the tape recorder. With Not I, Beckett achieved his stated theatrical ideal to stage a play with no actors except for a pair of lips.
