On October 20, 1678 Peter Morosini presented at San Simeon Grande to make a hospice to consecrate the memory of noble Veneto Ser Preio Morosini. Within 2 years the hospice was complete with 24 individual houses located next to Campo di S. Simeon Frofeta.
