Description
For piano.
T.p. ill.: lithograph drawing of a building that most closely resembles the Palace of Varied Industries. This drawing shows a rotunda and dome between two spires, a detail that is not seen in various photos and postcards of this palace. Additionally, this drawing shows people walking along a promenade in front of the building, whereas many photos of the palace show a canal in front of it; this difference could be a result of the angle of the photo or illustration. However, other architectural details, such as column style and spacing, and corner archways, remain consistent with the Palace of Varied Industries.
"Dedicated to Mr. David R. Francis, president, Louisiana Purchase Exposition."
