[In the consulshop of Lupicinus and] Jovinus the [most distinguished: Month, date. To
NN,] strategus of the Oxyrhynchite, from (at least 4 persons, including two whose names
are Hesychius and Dionysius), councilment of the city of Oxyrhynchus and [curators of
grain from Alexandria], through us whose signatures appear below. [We agree,
swearing] the awesome holy oath of our [masters Valentinian and] Valens, everlasting
Augusti, [that we have received . . . ] and loaded into [our ships, from the produce of] the
fortunate 11th new [indiction, or pure unadulterated grain,] unwetted and free of any fault
