Description
Mona Van Duyn to Isabella Gardner, September 22, 1964. Van Duyn is writing to remind Gardner of Washington University Library's interest in her worksheets, corrected proofs, and letters about her writing. Van Duyn says that the Library is interested in anything having to do with her poetic creative process. Van Duyn tells Gardner that other poets have contributed and that her donation of her papers will save her on income taxes. The Library will offer one hundred dollars to the poet for gathering up the papers. She tells Gardner that the papers will be securely stored and the poet maintains control over access. Van Duyn asks for a complete bibliography of Gardner's publications and requests that Gardner tape a reading for the Library.
