Description
Robert Lowell to Isabella Gardner, October 27, 1957. Lowell thanks Gardner for sending her poems & magazines to him. He gives his opinion on some of the references in her poems. Lowell writes that he and his wife, Lizzie, are looking forward to Gardner visiting them and would like to introduce her to a few people. He mentions that he likes a few of the new poets' work-- like that of Bowers and W. D. Snodgrass. Lowell complements Gardner's prose in her work.
