Reed Whittemore to Nemerov, January 28, 1957. Whittemore writes to Nemerov to inform him that Nemerov's publisher, University of Chicago Press, has requested that Whittemore write a book that the publisher has given guidelines for. Whittemore informs Nemerov that he will write his own book, if he decides to write one. He proposed that he and Nemerov write a book together. Whittemore goes on to talk about the weather and that his wife Helen's sister has come to visit along with her children.
