This is the bookstamp of Biblioteca Magnani (est. 1801), Magnani Library of Bologna, Italy. This library was established with funds given by Antonio Magnani (1743-1811), professor and librarian of the Institute of Sciences (Istituto delle Scienze).
In 1811, the library's collection of approximately 25,000 volumes was absorbed by the Biblioteca comunale in Bologna. Over the years the library's collection grew though donations and acquisitions, and it acquired a reputation for being a research and conservation library.
Today this library is referred to by the following names: Biblioteca comunale dell'Archiginnasio, Biblioteca comunale Magnani, and Biblioteca municipale Magnani.
