Post card from Elizabeth Bishop to Gardner, circa 1970. Bishop says that she discovered a post card that should have been sent to Gardner. She is sending a it to Gardner even though it was supposed to have been sent to her over a year before. Bishop says that she is sending the post card to let Gardner know that she was thinking about her--both then and now. She will be coming to New York soon and is looking forward to seeing Gardner. Bishop complements Gardner's contribution to an anthology about the "Nine" black children.
