May Swenson to Elizabeth Bishop, October 31, 1963. Swenson says that she hopes Bishop and Lota are feeling better since their illnesses. Swenson thanks her for the Samba record and offers to send Bishop the records that she requests from the States to Brazil. Swenson says she is also sending Bishop various articles. Swenson still doesn't know where she will have to fulfill the terms of the Ford grant with the theatre group--but she will let Bishop know where when she finds out. She talked about her visit to Smith College and tells Bishop that she will check to see that some books were sent.
