Title Description - Each page of this beautifully designed and produced book moves the reader slowly and mysteriously through an image of an empty hanging dress into a similarly ghostly building and then out through the back of the dress. The text, in French and English, talks about absence, silence, emptiness, and then describes an installation in the Art Exchange building in New York from which the images were taken. Haunting and poetic, this meditation on dislocation and transience seems illuminated from within by the frosted colors of photographs printed in negative. 29 June 2009 (printedmatter.org).
