Description
Title Description - A fundraising project of Peace Brigades International and DoubleTake Magazine, this little book collects forty photographs of de facto World Trade Center memorials – signs from New York City businesses that incorporated the twin towers into their logos while they were still a part of everyday life in the city. The modesty and simplicity of the project and the signs themselves is more moving than many of the more elaborate commemorative projects being proposed today. Proceeds from the sale of the book go to charities related to the events of September 11th, 2001. 29 June 2009 (printedmatter.org).
