Fondaco dei Tedeschi, by Tianna Williams

Venetians throughout history have been known for their involvement in trade. With the continuous traffic and involvement they had in this industry, it became essential to develop a place where the merchants could stay and conduct business. The Fondaco dei Tedeschi became a well-known location in Venice for German merchants for trading. The building was multi-functional and included the merchants' restricted living quarters, a warehouse, and a market.
